Two-Game Main Slate Rundown 📝

Another Monday primetime doubleheader arrives, which will feature the Jets at the Dolphins and Bengals at the Broncos! Unlike the MNF doubleheader from a couple of weeks ago, tonight’s matchups will overlap a bit with the first game (NYJ/MIA) kicking off at 7:15 ET and the second (CIN/DEN) beginning an hour later at 8:15 ET. These certainly aren’t the sexiest matchups, and both games will struggle to live up to last night’s wild SNF game… though I think most of us can agree that ties are LAME!

The focus of this newsletter will be geared toward the two-game slate, as opposed to the single-game/showdown slates, since that is what DFS sites are posting the majority of their big-money contests for. On a short slate like this, it’s going to be difficult to be unique, so, for large-field GPP purposes, don’t hesitate to leave a bit of salary on the table in some of your tournament lineups. Even leaving $500 or so on the table will drastically boost your chances of having a unique, non-duplicated lineup.

With that said, let’s dive right into Monday night’s action and get a look at my two-game DFS cheat sheet and some stack concepts to consider! • NYJ at MIA (7:15 ET, 45.5 O/U): They'll see some light impacts from tropical storm Imelda, resulting in 10 mph sustained winds and 15-20 mph gusts. Chance for some rain. Longer throws and kicks may be impacted a bit by those winds, but it's not a significant concern.

• CIN at DEN (8:15 ET, 44.5 O/U): Low-end chance of some rain, mainly in the first half.
