LineStar® Weekly Pylon - Week 14 Chalk Report

NFL DFS Chalk Report Written By: LineStar Tyler

WHY THIS MATTERS 👇

Sunday main slate is here again!

The main question for all your lineups is how much BUF vs TB exposure do you want? Most lineups will likely have 1-3 players from that game, and because of that, I will likely overstack that game or fade it and hope it disappoints.

Chalk QB 🤦🏻

The 3 highest owned QBs currently:

  1. Taysom Hill 12%

  2. Cam Newton 11%

  3. Josh Allen 10%

Taysom Hill, NO | DK: $5.6k, FD: $7.7k | vs. NYJ

·     Likely around 11% owned on both sites

·     Hill has a hurt finger but will be playing through it. It definitely made him less accurate last week where he threw 4 INTs

·    His rushing ability makes his pricing too cheap.

·    Only 24 Implied points, although he had 28 fantasy points off his team's 17 points last week.

Pivot QB

Justin Herbert, LAC | DK: $7.1k, FD: $8.4k | vs. NYG

·     6% owned on both sites

·    3rd lowest odds to be the highest-scoring team on Sunday.

·     Without Keenan Allen the stack options are fairly cheap, allowing you to still attack other premier games

·     NYG ranked 29th allowing 37.9 Pass Attempts (Last 9), more attempts = more scoring chances.

Patrick Mahomes, KC | DK: $8k, FD: $8.5k | vs. LV

·    Around 6% owned on both sites

·    Highest team implied total on the slate

·    LV ranked 31st allowing 2.2 Pass TDs (Last 9)

RB Chalk

Leonard Fournette, TB | DK: $7.4k, FD: $7.6k | vs. BUF

·     28% on DK and 33% on FD

·    Lenny has been a stud this season, HOWEVER, he only has 4 games that he has scored over 20 fantasy points.

·    DT Lotuelei is still out for BUF, since he has been out the Bills have been beatable on the ground.

·    Bills have been tough on pass-catching RBs which is where Fournette has done most of his damage lately. Over the last 4, he has averaged 7.8 targets a game. Meanwhile, the Bills are only giving up 4 rec and 29.8 yards via the air to the RB.

Austin Ekeler, LAC | DK: $8.3k, FD: $9.2k | vs. NYG

·     Around 20% on both sites

·     Ekeler has only had 5 games UNDER 20 fantasy points, now has a matchup vs a beatable D with Keenan Allen out. Ekeler will be the focal point of the offense.

·     NYG ranked 25th allowing 106.2 Rush Yards (Last 9)

Alvin Kamara, NO | DK: $7.9k, FD: $9k | vs. NYJ

·     Around 17% on both sites

·     Kamara is back, and Ingram is out. Kamara should get all the work he can handle. However, one thing to keep in mind is last season Hill did not target the RB much. If that happens again it's likely that Kamara disappoints at these salaries.

·    NYJ ranked 32nd allowing 1.6 Rush TDs (Last 9), NYJ ranked 31st allowing 125.8 Rush Yards (Last 9)

Pivot RB

Saquon Barkley NYG | DK: $6k, FD: $7.3k | vs. LAC

·     Around 6-7% owned on both sites

·     Barkley has been terrible, but he has at least faced solid run defenses. The LAC (26th vs RB) is the best matchup he has had all season.

·     LAC ranked 31st allowing 1.4 Rush TDs (Last 9), LAC ranked 27th allowing 112.2 Rush Yards (Last 9)

·     Barkley had 9 targets last week with Glennon

Cordarrelle Patterson, ATL | DK: $6.9k, FD: $7.8k | vs. CAR

·    6% on both sites

·    Patterson is being disrespected every week. He has been averaging over 6 yards per carry the last 3 weeks, is getting a majority of the work.

·    CAR ranked 30th allowing 120.4 Rush Yards (Last 9)

Clyde Edwards-Helarie, KC | DK: $6.1k, FD: $6.5 | vs. LV

·    Around 6% owned on both sites.

·     LV Raiders can't stop the run, LV ranked 26th allowing 108.0 Rush Yards (Last 9)

·    Leverage on Tyreek Hill/ Travis Kelce chalk.

WR Chalk

Tyreek Hill, KC | DK: $8.5k, FD: $8.7k | vs. LV

·     Around 22% on DK and 24% on FD

·     Averaging 25.27 FPPG vs LV the last 2 years

·    On the season LV has been tough vs WRs, but over the last 4 games, they rank 27th vs the WR.

Mike Evans, TB | DK: $6.6k, FD: $7.2k | vs. BUF

·     Likely around 19% on both sites

·     First time all season I've seen Evans projected higher owned than Godwin.

·    BUF is without Tre'davious White

·    Highest scoring game on the slate

Mike Williams, LAC | DK: $6k, FD: $6.9k | vs. NYG

·     Around 17% on DK and 18% on FD

· Chargers will be without Keenan Allen and his huge target share

. 3rd highest team implied total on the slate

. NYG ranked 31st allowing 1.2 Rec TDs to WR (Last 9)

Stefon Diggs, BUF | DK: $8.1k, FD: $8.2k | vs. TB

·     Around 14% on DK and 16% on FD

· Highest scoring game by 5 points. 54 Total, next closest is 49.

·     TB has been middle of the road vs WRs

Pivot WR’s

Ja'Marr Chase, CIN | DK: $8.6k, FD: $7.2k | vs. SF

·    Around 9% on both sites

·   Over the last 4 weeks SF is allowing 170 yards rec and 1 TD per game, which ranks them 29th vs the WR over that span.

·   Chase was the squeaky wheel this week, talking about how he wants to get moved around the formation more so teams can't double him as easily.

Jarvis Landry, CLE | DK: $5.4k, FD: $6.5k | vs. BAL

·     Around 6% on both sites.

·    BAL secondary is extremely beat up, they have no one to cover Landry.

·    In week 12 Landry went 6 for 111 vs BAL

·   BAL ranked 28th allowing 174.6 Rec Yards to WR (Last 9)

Terry McLaurin, WAS | DK: $7k, FD: $7.1 | vs. DAL

·     5% on DK and 7% on FD

·    Scary Terry is facing a secondary that likes to take chances, and Heinke is an aggressive QB. This leads to a higher chance of a broken play.

·    DAL ranked 27th allowing 174.2 Rec Yards to WR (Last 9)

TE Chalk

Gronk, Kittle, and Kelce are all around 11% owned on both sites. Very clear that most people will be paying up at TE this week. Every one of them is in a good spot, and worthy of higher ownership.

Travis Kelce, KC | DK: $7.4k, FD: $7.5k | vs. LV

·    11% on DK and 12% on FD

·     KC averages 59% more FP against division rivals

·     LV ranked 32nd allowing 1.0 Rec TDs to TE (Last 9)

·     LV tries to limit the big play but can be beaten easily by the dink and dunk, which is where Kelce thrives.

Pivot TE:

Jared Cook, LAC | DK: $3.2k, FD: $5.1k | vs. NYG

·    Around 4% owned on both sites

·      Cook has acted as the Slot WR when Allen does not take that role. With Allen out this week, there is a chance that Cook sees the field more than he has been with extra route run out of the slot.

·     NYG has given up 6.3 rec and 63.5 yards on average to TE the last 4 weeks

Austin Hooper, CLE | DK: $3.4k, FD: $5k | vs. BAL

·   Around 3% owned on both sites

·     Njoku and Bryant will both be missing the game leaving Hooper as the unquestioned number 1 TE.

·    BAL ranks 30th vs the TE
