WHY THIS MATTERS 👇

Welcome, LineStar family I hope last week's article helped you! Let's start off with a quick review of how we did last week. At QB our pivot Hurts outscored Herbert, then we nailed the RB pivot with Derrick Henry going for 50! Elliot was serviceable but was around the same outcome as chalk Najee and Carson. At WR we whiffed a bit as Claypool, Callaway, Jefferson, and Wilson all underperformed. To round the article out we crushed at TE with Gronk over Waller. If you took Hurts, Henry, Elliot, and Gronk your DK score would have been 110.6 (salary used $25,700) with WR, FLEX, and DEF to go ($24,300 to use). Hopefully, some of you did that and didn't follow my WR path.

Now, let's start looking into week 3.

This week looks like the field will be going the Stud/dud route. Might be a good idea to look at more balanced builds.

Chalk QB 🤦🏻

As of writing this article, I believe the QB ownership should be fairly spread out. With no QB too high owned to fade them purely off ownership.

The highest 3 QB's currently look like:

1. Lamar Jackson 12%

2. Kyler Murray 11%

3. Patrick Mahomes 11%

Lamar Jackson, BAL | DK: $7.8k, FD: $8.4k | vs. DET

· Likely around 12% owned on both sites

· 4th highest game total, but the 3rd highest implied total for a team.

· Brown and Andrews both look to be only around 8% owned, however, I wouldn't stack with more than 1 since this is a lower volume passing team.

Pivot QB

Matthew Stafford, LAR | DK: $6.4k, FD: $7.6k | vs. TB

· Around 5% owned on both sites

· TB secondary has been picked apart by Ryan and Prescott

· 55.5 is the highest total on the slate

· With his low ownership stacking him with Kupp makes you a little different with your Kupp lineups. Don't forget about other good stacking options like Higbee, Woods, or Jefferson.

Justin Fields, CHI | DK: $5.2k, FD: $6.5k | vs. CLE

· Ownership looks to be around 1-3%

· Huge rushing upside

· CLE looks to be the 2nd highest owned DEF giving you leverage on the field

· "The Browns defense ranks 25th in pass DVOA through two weeks and has allowed 29.9 FPPG to QBs" -Ryan Humphries from the Main Slate Article

· All CHI pass catchers are low owned, this stack will get you really different

RB Chalk

Derrick Henry, TEN | DK: $8.6k, FD: $9.7k | vs. IND

· Around 20% owned on DK and 25% on FD

· TD dependant, I do not like playing him when he is high owned due to his TD dependence.

· IND Colts were a top team vs the RB last year, this year they are one of the worst, BUT have played two good teams in LAR and SEA. I do not believe the Colt's D has gotten this much worse.

Dalvin Cook, MIN | DK: $8.4k, FD: $9.5k | vs. SEA

· Around 20% owned on both sites

· No doubt Cook is a stud, however, he did get banged up last week and is listed as questionable this week. Decent chance this makes his ownership come in lower than it currently looks.

Saquon Barkley, NYG | DK: $6.5k, FD: $6k | vs. ATL

· Around 20% owned on FD and 15% on DK

· ATL rush defensive is middle of the pack, and their secondary is awful

· Saquon's snap count has been going up every week and they have had 10 days off, BUT he hasn't been very effective in his touches and has not been involved very much in the passing game. With only 6 total targets through 2 weeks.

Pivot RB

Ty'Son Williams , BAL | DK: $5.8k, FD: $6.4k | @ LAC

· Around 5-7% owned on both sites.

· DET has been torched via the ground game, the field thinks Lamar will do the torching. Pivoting to Williams gives you leverage on the Lamar lineups.

· Typical BAL fashion he is only playing 50% of the snaps, but he's clearly the best back in BAL. He has multiple TD upside this week.

· NFL's 3rd highest average yards per carry at 6.5. *Minimum 15 carries

· The Bad - He is only averaging 13.5 touches per game so far. 12 in Week 1 and 15 in week 2.

Mike Davis ATL | DK: $5.1k, FD: $5.7k | @ NYG

· Around 5% owned

· Sneaky game that could be a shoot-out.

· He's involved in both running and passing games. averaging 17 touches/game.

· Facing a bad D, Broncos and WFT combined for 5.36 yards per carry and 5.5 receptions/game.

Jonathan Taylor IND | DK: $7k, FD: $6.7k | @ TEN

· Around 7% on DK and 12-15% on FD

· With Wentz being hurt they could lean on the run game more

· averaging 20 touches a game

· Facing a bad D in TEN, Broncos and WFT combined for 5.36 yards per carry and 5.5 receptions/game.

WR Chalk

Cooper Kupp, LAR | DK: $6k, FD: $6.2k | vs. TB

· Likely to be around 20-25% owned on both sites

· Has shown great chemistry with Stafford

· Robert Woods is still there, and any week could get more looks. I would be shocked if they don't make sure to get him involved soon.

· Using a stack with Stafford could help make you different due to Stafford's low ownership

Tyreek Hill, KC | DK: $7k, FD: $7.4k | vs. LAC

· Will probably end up being around 20% owned

· LAC secondary is good, currently #1 vs WR.

Chris Godwin, TB | DK: $6.8k, FD: $7.8k | vs. LAR

· Around 15% owned on both sites

· LAR has a great D, secondary is allowing the 5th least amount of fantasy points to WR.

Pivot WR’s

JuJu Smith-Schuster, Pit | DK: $6k, FD: $6.1k | vs. CIN

Chase Claypool, Pit | DK: $5.8k, FD: $5.8k | vs. CIN

· Dionte Johnson is out, which opens up a lot of targets

· MIN took advantage of this secondary, these two WR's should be able to as well.

· Around 2% owned likely due to big ben being injured. If he doesn't play I will be off of both guys

Calvin Ridley, ATL | DK: $7k, FD: $8.1k | vs. NYG

· Mclaurin just torched the NYG secondary. Ridley can easily do that as well.

· Russell Gage is out leaving more targets up for grabs

· This game could end up being a shoot out

· 6% owned

Darnell Mooney, CHI | DK: $4.6k, FD: $5.6k | vs. CLE

· Mooney has been playing 95% of the snaps and is the deep threat guy.

· Averaging 7.5 targets/game

· CLE looks to be the 2nd highest owned DEF giving you leverage on the field

· 2% owned

TE Chalk

Travis Kelce, KC | DK: $8.2k, FD: $8.5k | vs. LAC

· Likely around 15-20% owned

· He is almost always the most likely TE to be in the optimal lineup

. LAC D is better vs the WR than TEs

Pivot TE:

Tyler Higbee, LAR | DK: $4k, FD: $5.5k | vs. TB

· Far too cheap on DK IMO.

· 5% Owned on both sites

· Plays all of the snaps

· TB is giving up 8/rec 76.50/yards per game to the TE

Kyle Pitts, ATL | DK: $4.9k, FD: $6.2k | vs. NYG

· ~ 7% Owned on both sites

· Snap counts are raising

· NYG is giving up 8/rec 74.50/yards per game to the TE

· Russell Gage is out, opening up more targets
