Saturday Slate Rundown 📝

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and is ready to roll into more Week 17 NFL action! For the second consecutive week, we’re set up with a Saturday NFL doubleheader. This one will feature Texans at Chargers in the late afternoon and Ravens at Packers in the nightcap. One of the defining storylines of this mini slate is the quarterback uncertainty, as both Lamar Jackson (back/doubtful) and Jordan Love (shoulder/concussion/out) are currently expected to miss, though Jackson still carries a slim chance of being upgraded over the next 24 hours. At a minimum, that situation limits the QB chaos to just one of the two games. Both matchups also carry totals below 40 points, so true shootout environments are unlikely, but the lack of offensive fireworks is offset by close spreads (LAC -1.5 & GB -3.5) and meaningful playoff implications on both sides. With a condensed player pool and several large DFS contests posted, identifying the right volume and leverage spots will be key. Let’s see what we can put together. Best of luck!
