Saturday Slate Rundown 📝

The final week of the NFL regular season has arrived and, with that, comes a slew of potential playoff-clinching scenarios! Before a busy Sunday slate rolls around, we’ll have two games on the docket for Saturday featuring the Steelers at the Ravens and the Texans at the Colts. Aside from the Ravens, who are locked into the No. 1 seed in the AFC, every other team on this slate can either guarantee or greatly improve their playoff chances with a victory on Saturday. Excluding a bunch of tie scenarios, here are the most likely Week 18 playoff-clinching scenarios for the Steelers, Texans, and Colts:

• Steelers: Win PLUS Bills loss OR Jaguars loss.

• Texans: Win (and they can clinch the AFC South with a win OR Jaguars loss on Sunday).

• Colts: Win (and they can clinch the AFC South with a win PLUS Jaguars loss on Sunday).

So, aside from the Ravens, who will be resting several key starters including MVP favorite QB Lamar Jackson, there is a lot at stake for every other team on Saturday! Weather Report

As a reminder, weather plays less of a factor in football than it does in other sports but it is still worth making note of any games that could experience wet conditions, high winds, and/or frigid, snowy conditions.

• PIT @ BAL: Cold, wet, and windy. Temps in the upper 30s will likely lead to a wintry mix of rain, sleet, and snow. Sustained winds will be around 15 mph with gusts upwards of 30 mph. Not ideal weather conditions by any means.
