Main Slate Rundown 📝

The NFL continues with a usual Sunday main slate, which will fall on Christmas Eve! However, due to TNF, a Saturday doubleheader, and a Christmas Day tripleheader, this will be the smallest Sunday main slate of the season, with just nine games on the docket! Still, we’ll obviously have many more ways to attack this slate than the small Saturday/Monday slates. There aren’t many high-scoring games expected on Christmas Eve but, on the surface, there are plenty of even match-ups with the largest spread on the slate being just five points. And, as usual, there are often going to be at least one or two games that end up turning into surprise shootouts. So pour up some egg nog, make sure all of the gifts are wrapped under the tree, and get set for a fun afternoon of NFL action! Let’s get into a weather outlook, a main slate cheat sheet featuring core plays as well as leverage plays, several stacks to consider, and a couple of player prop recommendations! As a reminder, weather plays less of a factor in football than it does in other sports but it is still worth making note of any games that could experience wet conditions, high winds, and/or frigid, snowy conditions.
