Week 12 DFS Main Slate Rundown 📝

After a highly entertaining Thanksgiving Day slate, we’ll have a busy football-filled Sunday to look forward to as well. Perhaps this isn’t the sexiest Sunday main slate of the season and there are quite a few games that may feature wet and windy weather conditions. But football is football and who knows what mayhem and magic this set of games has in store for us!?!

Note: For this week’s NFL newsletter, instead of individual player breakdowns, everything will be compacted into a DFS cheat sheet. It’s a busy holiday weekend for your boy so I’ve had to save some time with this edition. I know some people actually prefer the cheat sheet style but I also know there are plenty of people who like to see the reasoning behind recommended plays. Hopefully, this isn’t a major inconvenience!

Weather Report

As a reminder, weather plays less of a factor in football than it does in other sports but it is still worth making note of any games that could see wet conditions, high winds, or (when we get into the winter months) frigid, snowy conditions.

The forecasts can always change so, as always, run a final weather check closer to kickoff!

BAL @ JAX (1:00 ET, 43.5 O/U): 10-15 mph winds with a slight chance for rain.

CHI @ NYJ (1:00 ET, 38.5 O/U): Strong chance for rain, particularly later in the game. Winds around 10 mph.

TB @ CLE (1:00 ET, 42 O/U): Around an 80% chance of rain throughout this game. Winds will be blowing around 15 mph with stronger gusts.

DEN @ CAR (1:00 ET, 36 O/U): Moderate chance for rain to start this game. Winds around 15 mph.

CIN @ TEN (1:00 ET, 43.5 O/U): ~15 mph winds.

ATL @ WAS (1:00 ET, 41 O/U): Rain is likely along with 10 mph winds.

LV @ SEA (4:05 ET, 47.5 O/U): Chance for rain.

Defenses to Consider

D/ST is a very volatile “position” and shouldn’t take up too much time in your DFS research. However, here are some D/STs I’m on board with this week.

Pay-Up D/ST: Washington Commanders | DK: $3.6k, FD: $4.3k | vs. ATL

Mid-Range D/ST: Chicago Bears | DK: $3.2k, FD: $4.2k | @ NYJ
